Registration for NEXUS 20/21 conference is closed

NEXUS 20/21 conference took place 26-29 July 2021.

Please note that the deadline for already accepted abstracts: submission of final, correctly formatted abstracts for publication is 15 March 2021 and payment of conference participation fee in order to have the abstract published in the proceedings is 30 April 2021.

Because of COVID-19 we had to postpone the NEXUS conference to 26-29 July 2021 with the following deadlines:

Early Registration

until 30 April 2021 (speakers only)

until 31 May 2021 (other participants)

  • Members of the Scientific Committee 190 €
  • Full time students1 115 € 

Late Registration

from 01 June 2021 to 15 July 2021 (other participants)

  • Participants 290 €
  • Members of the Scientific Committee 230 €
  • Full time students1 145 € 

It is also possible to register for one day only (fee is one quarter). Then tell us the day in the remarks in the registration.

For German participants:
Fortbildungspunkte für die Architektenkammern Baden-Württemberg (8 Punkte), Saarland (8 Punkte), Rheinland-Pfalz, Nordrhein-Westfalen sind möglich. Bei Teilnahme an nur einem Tag werden dann 2 Punkte bescheinigt.

Important Dates

  • 21 December 2019 | Deadline for submission of abstracts.
  • 01 March 2020 | Notification of acceptance of abstracts.

Now adapted to the new conference dates

  • 15 March 2021 | Speakers only: Deadline for submission of final corrected abstracts for publication (no more than 1600 words and 2 pages DIN/A4 of images).
  • 30 April 2021 | Speakers only: Deadline for payment of conference participation fee in order to have the abstract published in the proceedings.
  • 31 May 2021 | Other participants: Early Registration with reduced registration fee
  • 01 June – 15 July 2021 | Other participants: Registration with regular fee
  • 26-29 July 2021 | Conference in Kaiserslautern - Online
  • 1 October 2021 | Notification of selection for publication in Nexus Network Journal.
  • 2022 | Publication of selected papers in the Nexus Network Journal.

Cancellation Policy

In order to cancel your registration, send a message to nexus2021@architektur.uni-kl.de

  • If we receive a cancellation message on or before 31 May 2021, we will refund 100% of the conference fee.
  • If we receive a cancellation message after 31 May 2021 and on or before 20 June 2021, we will refund 50% of the conference fee.
  • If we receive a cancellation message after 20 June 2021, there will be no refund of the conference fee.
